HEATSPACE EDITORIAL

Research should clarify—not overpromise.

Our weekly guides translate heat-exposure research into practical context while keeping study limits, uncertainty, and safety visible.

Last reviewed July 24, 2026

Evidence hierarchy

We begin with peer-reviewed human research: systematic reviews, randomized or controlled trials, prospective studies, and relevant physiological experiments. We prefer direct evidence for the heat modality being discussed and do not automatically transfer findings between traditional sauna, infrared cabins, and steam rooms.

Primary and secondary sources

Scientific evidence receives priority. Expert commentary, books, podcasts, brand material, influencer protocols, and personal reports may provide useful questions or practical context, but we identify them as secondary or anecdotal and do not present them as clinical proof.

How protocols are written

We report the population, equipment, duration, frequency, outcomes, and important limitations of relevant studies. When research does not establish an optimum, we say so. Conservative starting points are labeled as practical guidance rather than proven maximum-benefit doses.

Authorship and review

Articles attributed to Heatspace Editorial are researched and maintained by the Heatspace team. They are not described as medically reviewed unless a named, qualified reviewer has actually reviewed the article. Publication and significant-update dates are displayed on each article.

Corrections and updates

We revisit articles when material new evidence appears or when a source, recommendation, or product detail changes. Significant changes update the visible review date and sitemap date. To report an error, email vladarama2002@gmail.com.

Medical scope

Heatspace publishes general wellness education, not diagnosis or treatment. Individual health conditions, pregnancy, medications, and heat intolerance require guidance from an appropriate clinician.
